Kings Kids is designed with 5th and 6th graders in mind. The primary grade pattern of Sunday school reflects a 5th grader status as a middle schooler and the meeting time is scheduled Wednesday evenings from 6:30–8:00 p.m.

As a warm-up to confirmation, Here We Stand curriculum from Augsburg Fortress is used, but the main focus is mainly on learning Bible stories from the Old and New Testaments, instead of on Luther’s Small Catechism.

Kings Kids will include times of worship, special small group learning sessions during Lent, music, prayer, faith sharing, humor, fun service projects, learning from others, and games. Getting comfortable with growing in faith for a lifetime is a goal.
